We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and support the ongoing development and maintenance of a production-grade data platform. This position is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in ETL processes and data engineering who is ready to take ownership of clearly scoped tasks—and who’s excited to expand their skills into modern Big Data tools and architecture.
You’ll start by working on well-defined, operational tasks such as pipeline maintenance, data integration, and implementing enhancements based on established patterns. The focus is on maintaining and extending existing components, with new development based on clear guidance and specifications.
Over time, you’ll gain hands-on experience with cloud-native, distributed, and scalable data technologies used in modern data lakehouse and analytics platforms. You’ll also have the opportunity to support internal R&D initiatives—such as AI-driven projects—without needing prior expertise in data science.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows
- Implement new features based on clear technical specifications
- Support structured and semi-structured data processing in production
- Monitor data operations and ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance
- Work with analysts and developers to improve data usability and insight delivery
- Gradually get involved with more advanced data platform technologies as you grow
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with data engineering or ETL development (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of databases, data warehousing concepts, and data pipelines
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to working with data
- Comfortable working independently on clearly defined tasks
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and environments
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
NICE TO HAVE (OR WILLING TO LEARN)
- Exposure to modern data tools such as Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow, or Superset
- Experience with version control (Git), Linux environments, or Docker
- Interest in Big Data ecosystems, cloud platforms, and scalable architectures
- Curiosity about applied AI and real-world data innovation
