Enhanced Scheduling is a complex supply chain web application developed to overview and match the supply and demand of milk-related commodities by contracts. It also matches haulers to loads and overviews the transportation process.
Enhanced scheduling is a multi-product supply chain platform connecting supply and demand. The idea is to provide support for any type of easily configurable product being shipped from a supplier to a receiver. I.e. platform extends beyond dairy commodities and allows easy configuration of the new product (e.g. Orange Juice, Diesel Fuel, …). Each participant in the workflow (farm, shipper, plant, cooperative manager) has a unique view in the application providing the information and actions they require.

By connecting supply, demand, and haulers in one supply chain management application, users get a clear, unified, and actual overview of the market. From time-saving to price, revenue, and goods quality control, Enhanced Scheduling is a platform that uplifts the supply chain’s operational efficiency.
The domain model is carefully designed based on the business requirements. After review, documentation is written down as a basis for user stories which get prepared through agile refinement sessions.
In the manner of agile development, the team is committed to a clearly defined scope of work being worked on within sprints of a two-week duration. Work progress is being monitored and demo sessions are being held after each sprint. This way, key stakeholders participate actively in solution development.
The quality of the solution is ensured through continuous code reviews, integration testing, QA testing, and end-to-end testing automation practices. When a milestone is reached, the solution is deployed to production to be accessible to the users.
