We are looking for a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time, hybrid position to join our team and help us test the web-based products we’re developing for our clients!
As a QA your main task will be to make sure the development team has done everything in accordance with the project specifications, report any irregularities in the application, and keep an eye on them until they are fully resolved. You will apply test automation and best practices in designing and maintaining scalable test environments.
You’ll work on projects related to enterprise mobile and web solutions for the supply chain. You will be a great addition to our team if you are motivated and you are on a constant path to learn more and improve your skills. Also, you love keeping up with new technologies and industry trends to help you deliver excellent software.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS ABOUT
- Assurance of all operations that affect application and platform quality
- Reporting all malfunctions to the development team to ensure immediate action
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, and then performing tests, i.e. executing test cases, testing user stories
- Participating through an entire lifecycle of a bug – identifying, recording, and documenting issues thoroughly (we use JIRA)
- Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and proposing possible solutions
- Writing and executing automated tests
- Communicating with team
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Familiarity with QA methods and concepts
- Experience with test automation and Cypress
- Experience with JIRA
- 1+ years of experience as a software tester
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail and a result-driven approach
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Very good knowledge of the English language in verbal and written communication
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Experience with Git
- Experience with JavaScript
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
